Suffering of Motherland

Duterte's leadership over the years has made many Filipinos amazed by his different advocacies. As this year suffers a pandemic the real colors of the President have made our freedom and rights fade away. I believe that being in a democratic country, as the president, you should whole heartedly listen to the cries of your people. It is a leader who is dedicated to give his people their needs and safety; Military has been the President's hope for this pandemic and not have given proper treatment to the dedicated Healthcare Professionals.

Is it really necessarily to prioritize wasting government funds to different matters? Is it really okay to starve people and patronize militarism? People living in a democratic country not even feeling safe because of the incompetence of a corrupted government.

This pandemic revealed his likeness and a person who doesn't have a heart for his people and it is sad to see that some people still believe in his power. I highly recommend for the president to hear out medical advices on how our country will rise. Militarism doesn't have nothing to do with COVID-19, If discipline is the reason for prioritizing this then why are Duterte’s troop are the ones who are not following said protocols.

I am a student fulfilling my dreams and my country mourns as it suffers deeper and deeper.  I use my voice not because I am against the government. I am using this platform to reach out to the president because my homeland hopes for a bright and well future.

I love how you care for our country and for the Filipinos. Still hoping for our President to take actions with this. Overall, your letter is amazing. God bless!
